Endeavour Capital invests in ATM company Grant Victor

Portland-based Endeavour took control of Grant Victor LLC, a private company headquartered in Kaysville, Utah. The company places non-bank ATMs in retailers, processes transactions and services the machines under long-term contracts. It also operates bill payment kiosks.

According to Inc. Magazine, Grant Victor posted 2010 revenue of $38.9 million – for three-year growth of 186 percent – and employed 27 in 2010.

Citing the sellers' wishes, Endeavour Managing Director Mark Dorman , declined to state the size of Endeavour’s investment or the percent of Grant Victor that it owns. The sellers were founders Tim and Burt Matthews.

The transaction closed on June 30, but word didn’t get out until Thursday, when investment banker D.A. Davidson & Co.   ).

Dorman said Endeavour extended its reach partly because the principals knew ATM industry veteran Dave Charles , and brought him in to serve as the new CEO of Grant Victor. He said Endeavour plans to grow Grant Victor through acquisitions.

Formed in 1991, Endeavour takes a long-term approach to its corporate investments. The firm is investing its fifth equity fund of $475 million. It has additional offices in Seattle and Los Angeles.

My Warn M8000 went when I sold my YJ. Now I'm back in the market and looking to put another Warn on my TJ. I was going to go with the XD9000, but then I saw this new VR line that Warn put out. Sure it's a little slower, but for the price you get the quality of a Warn and save a few bucks for other mods. However, last night when I was searching various forums it's seems like most of the ones I saw for sale were the VR series. Coincidence or is there a reason for this? Had an old Ramsey 8k on my 97 TJ when I bought it last year. It was so slow reeling in. Decided to go with the Warn VR 10k model, and am very happy with it. Have had to use it twice already in deep snow, and it did the job. Found it on Amazon with free shipping, no Cali tax for $579, had a $80 rebate from Warn and sold the old Ramsey for $150. So into a new Warn 10k winch for $379 with the Warn reputation etc. Also at the same time mounted control switches for the winch inside the cab, which makes it easier than draging the cord out when winching.
