FOR THE KIDS!

TALES AND TAILS! Join Irvine for a few animal stories followed by an interaction of animals! This fall, we will have this program every Friday. Get a close interaction and practice with animals Irvine. All ages. Friday, September 9 to November 18, 10 - 10:45 Free!

JUNIOR NATURALIST! Spend your Saturday morning to explore nature. Junior naturalists out on the trails and take part in fun activities including games, nature crafts, stories, puppet shows and animal encounters.This program is part of a series (10/15, 11/19), but can be purchased separately. Children should wear "clothing respectful of nature." Ages 6-9. Saturday September 24 9:00 to 12:15 $ members, $ 25 non-members (per class)

ORANGE & one of the travel world's most prolific black is happening now. The monarch butterfly, oriole color migrates to its winter habitat. With this program you'll mark your own monarchs and become a citizen science project for Monarch Watch! Be sure to pre-register, since it is a small group and then meet us at Booth Overlook. All ages.Two sessions: Saturday, September 24 11 am - 12 noon or 2-3 pm $ 5 members, $ 15 non-members

Rosh Hashanah Day outside the camp no school and no plans for today? Explore the stream with us instead. We will look under logs and learn about different animal habitats. Expect trail rides, games, nature crafts, stories, puppet shows, animal encounters and more. Children should wear "clothing respectful of nature" and bring a lunch. Ages 6-10. Thursday, September 29, 9:00 to 3:00 p.m. $ 50 members, $ 60 members (after care available until 5:00 p.m.for an additional fee)

Remembrance Day Holiday Crafts: Activities for Kids of All Ages ...

November 11, Canadians across the country take time to remember those who served their country. More than 1.5 million Canadians served their country and more than 100,000 dead. Remembrance Day is a day to remember and honor those who fought for our freedom and rights.

The younger generation must also learn to participate in Remembrance Day, so that future generations do not forget. By making fun crafts you can get children involved in Remembrance Day and to contribute to the continuation of the tradition to remember our veterans.

Coloring Crafts for kids to do the Day of Remembrance

There are many coloring pages you can download from the Internet for children of color. There are poppies and fields, flags and fireworks. Children can also color the Canadian flag or draw their own.

If your child the colors of a flag or poppy, you can crop the image once they are made and tape or staple it to a stick. They can take their personalized flags for parades and ceremonies and be proud of what they did to support Remembrance Day!

Paper Crafts for kids can do on Remembrance Day

You can find many online jobs that kids can do to Remembrance Day. A popular craft is the crown of poppies.

You will need:

printer paper plate scissors paper glue crayons

You can print poppies or draw yourself. Cut them out and let the kids color all. Cut the center of the plate on paper, to form a crown. You can leave the crown, colorless or if you choose.

Glue all the poppies on the crown, overlapping one another and covering both the paper plate as you can.You can still decorate it by gluing a bow or words like "Lest We Forget" on top. Staples, or tape, some son of the back of the crown and he hangs up.
