Blondie Announces Fall US Tour For New Album - The Silver Tongue

, Coming after their first studio effort in eight years. The LP is set to debut on September 13th.

The nation-wide tour will start on September 4th in Prior Lake, MI, before ending in Las Vegas, NV on October 8th. The band has generated some excitement with this album, gaining inspiration from New York’s diverse population and street culture. Producers Jeff Saltzman (the Killers, Fischerspooner) and Kato Khandwala (Paramore, Papa Roach) have collaborated to work on the album. New members have also joined Debbie Harry, Chris Stein and Clem Burke, including Leigh Fox, Tommy Kessler and Katz-Bohen.

The LP is sure to shock fans with songs sung in French and Spanish, along with a reggae cover. It has already caused excitement among fans with the first single “Mother”, which is in reference to the infamous West 14th Street nightclub with same name.
