Fillmore Pub, Plano, TX
It was a traditional pub in downtown Dallas, TX.
It was quite dark in the pub you expect. The menu was a traditional pub menu with a few burger options. I chose the burger with cheddar Pub. I asked if they could add bacon and they could. I also asked for the burger cooked to medium.
The burger came in 10 minutes and it looked very good. The first taste of the burger and I knew that I was wrong to add the bacon. I guess the chef knew better. I removed the bacon. It was too salty and had a bad taste. After the bacon is out the burger was a delight.The burger was perfectly medium and was burned on a hot grill hot. It was very clear that this burger was grilled. The meat was very tasty and tender. The cheese was the beer (do not ask me how) and it was delicious.
The fries were good pub regular fries and they were very good.
Overall a solid burger with large fries. I would recommend to anyone Fillmore Pub in Plano area.
